west of Karthwasten and I set up camp outside before exploring a little. I heard some horrible gibbers and growls from a stairwell, up or down I could not tell, so I packed up my things as fast as I could and backtracked to a nice camping spot I had almost stopped in beforehand. I am going to keep a fire burning all night if I can. I want to look at it more closely tomorrow morning, but maybe from a distance. The remaining buildings are gorgeous, lots of translucent pale green windowpanes veined with lead filigree.

I didn’t end up going back into the ruins, but I did spend a while admiring them from a small distance.

I got rather lost, but kept heading northwest as best I could, and eventually found a road with signs to Dragonstar. I reached Dragonstar in the evening, just a little before sundown, dead tired - the terrain here is much more vertical than Vvardenfell.
