I stopped in at the Fighters' Guild to collect more work - the leader asked me to kill (kill!) two egg-poachers who have been racketeering Kwama eggs. I tried to convince her the guild should pay or provide me some armor first, which clearly angered her. I told her I would think about it, and asked for directions. She told me to swim downriver until I came across the footbridge. What a dreadful person.
The pay would surely be enough to purchase the rest of an alchemy set, but I am loath to interact with her any more. I stole a bundle of arrows by the door on my way out. There is an interesting tapestry opposite the door to the Fighters' Guild that
caught my eye: a large figure in a horned helmet, with a massive axe. The tapestry is clearly ancient and so deteriorated that any minute detail is indistinguishable from its more vague forms. I wonder who it depicts.
I crossed back over the volcanic canyon and made camp under the first giant mushroom's canopy that I could find. My feet still hurt after hours of resting, admittedly spent mostly fetching and boiling water to experiment with the plants I had gathered. I made a few successful potions!
