Facia. Grows on trees and fallen logs in high-moisture environments. Has a more red-brown or orange tint than Hypha Facia, with white mottling, but is often difficult to tell apart.

Hypha Facia

An edible (delectable) polypore that shares a habitat with Bungler's Bane. The alchemist in the Balmora Mages' Guild told me she identifies them from Bungler's Bane based on their smell. Unfortunately, I am not a Khajit like her and cannot smell a difference between the two.

Hypha Facia seldom has mottling like Bungler's Bane (although it appears that as the fruiting body grows older and larger, the very center does produce that same mottling), and produces black spores rather than white. Has a wonderful nutty flavor.

Alchemical properties: increases alertness, has a small amount of latent magicka. The spores are poisonous and induce dizziness, sluggishness, and headaches in higher concentrations.
