blight is getting worse, and I should keep my face covered.

I met a pilgrim asking for directions to a shrine I didn't know the directions to. I told him a pair of Ashlanders told me that the blight was getting worse and that he should keep his face covered.

When I reached Maar Gan, I asked the guard where I could find Tashpi - no necromancer is she, but a restoration adept at the Maar Gan Temple. She asked who told me she was a necromancer and I answered truthfully. She said that long ago she was a practicing healer in Balmora who refused to join the Mages' Guild when Ranis pressed

her to do so, and she fled to Maar Gan thinking she would be safe.

Ranis is truly despicable. I need to be careful about the work I perform. Book hunts and research are much more my forte than conscripted assassination.

For a town whose only industry is kwama egg mining, the inn is very well-adorned. I paid for a hot dinner - they only had one dish: kwama stew. Absolutely delicious! It had both kwama eggs and meat, as well as ash yams and some other vegetables that I do not recognize when cooked down. I spent the rest of the evening brewing potions to sell.
