11 Hearthfire
An eventful morning: very overcast that dissipated as the sun rose through it. Absolutely gorgeous, and I very nearly lost my footing a few times hiking down the Red-Mountain-side of the ridge I had camped at the base of because I was paying more attention to the sky than the dirt.
The trail led through a daedric ruin, and I ventured off the trail to avoid it - my mistake. I found myself incredibly lost in the ash storm that swept in from the slopes of the mountain. I tried to keep my path perpendicular to the ruling gradient of the slope, but ended up so lost
that I started following what I swore was the bleating of a sheep - it must have been Azura's doing, as I nearly walked headfirst into a north-eastern section of Ald’ruhn’s perimeter wall.
I delivered the Chronicles of Nchuleft to Edwinna, the leader of the Ald'ruhn chapter, and she paid me quite generously - double the cost of the book, plus a reimbursement, seven hundred and forty septims all told. It seems education is far more lucrative than guild dues and an attempt to corner the market on healing - not to mention more ethical.
