Sensors
In the center of the base of the forward wall of the bridge, a hatch opens to a tube with rungs along the top. Clustered around the tube are the access panels for radar, lidar, and avionics sensors- each marked with military-grade certification.
Bridge
The bridge shortens along the forward wall, requiring most terrans to duck. Three control stations and a computer bank are set into the walls. The overhead window and smaller windows set into the port and starboard walls shutter closed with mechanical blinds.
Office
A large desk dominates the room, facing the door. A wooden hutch turned into a liquor cabinet sits behind the desk, moodily lit. A large shotgun is bolted on quick-release straps to the bottom of the desk, hidden from view. Two paintings flank the door, one of them erotic.
Stateroom
A small room with a standardized design: two foldaway beds, a desk and cabinets built into the wall, and a sink and toilet.
Fuel scoops
Twin fuel processors at the fore of each fuel tank share a back wall with each side’s staterooms - they are insulated pretty well, but still make it mildly difficult to sleep when turned on.
Workshop
A rat’s nest of a drone workshop refitted to service robots. It is hopelessly cluttered with parts, none of them in containers or otherwise secured for zero-g… several zero-g’s ago.
Storage
Rows of shelves of unlabeled, opaque plastic storage containers of Stuff. The ceiling opens to an overhead hatch large enough for an air/raft.
Fresher
A shower with a UV light in the ceiling. The glass door has a switch to turn from clear, to hazy, to opaque. A sink and toilet fold down from the fore and aft walls, and a combination washer & dryer pulls down from the ceiling.
Engineering
A narrow corridor runs between the power plant enclosure and the drives in the aft side of the room.
Cargo bay
A small cargo bay, it’s interior shaped like an upside-down trapezoidal pyramid, with shelving on the walls for additional storage. A roll-up door exits to the starboard side, and a ladder leads up to the center of the main deck.
Fuel
Were you to get inside of these, you could follow a snake-shaped route between stainless steel baffles reaching from floor to ceiling the height of the cargo bay. A terran would also go deaf from the echoes of the fuel refineries at their forward end.
Double turret
A the end of the central hallway, a hatch in the ceiling at the corner extends a drop-down ladder into the turret, equipped with a double beam laser.
